Prof Alice Coffey
Prof Alice Coffey
Alice Coffey is Professor of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Limerick (UL), Principal Investigator and Project Lead of RapidInfo4U. Prof Coffey also leads the Implementation Science and Technology (HIST) research cluster at the Health Research Institute UL and Course Director for the Professional Doctorate in Healthcare Practice. She is member of the University Hospital Limerick Research Governance Committee, serves as the UL representative on the All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care (AIIHPC) Council of Partners, and member of the Strategic Scientific Committee of the Palliative Care Research Network. Prof Coffey is on the management committee of the All Ireland Gerontological Nurses Association (AIGNA), a founder member of Omega Epsilon at-Large, the first Irish Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Society of Nursing and UL representative on the External Advisory Committee of HRB Clinical Research Co-ordination Ireland.

Dr Audrey Tierney
Dr Audrey Tierney
Dr Tierney is a Senior Lecturer and Course Director for the MSc Dietetics in the University of Limerick and is responsible for marketing and dissemination of RapidInfo4U. Dr Tierney is experienced in conducting evidence-based research in diet and disease and has published widely across all study design types. Dr Tierney has worked clinically in the areas of intensive care and respiratory medicine for 15 years and is a member of the Health Implementation Science and Technology cluster at the University of Limerick, the Irish Nutrition and Dietetic Institute’s Education Steering Committee and the Dietetic Australian Association. Dr Tierney is a CORU registered Dietitian.

Dr Arlene McCurtin
Dr Arlene McCurtin
Dr McCurtin is Lecturer and Course Director for the MSc Speech & Language Therapy at the University of Limerick and is responsible for the delivery of RapidInfo4U. Dr McCurtin is a CORU registered Speech and Language Therapists (SL018568) with a special interest in all things epistemological. She is experienced in conducting evidence-based research including systematic reviews and has discipline-specific clinical expertise in swallowing disorders. Dr McCurtin sits on the management committee of the Health Implementation Science and Technology cluster at the University of Limerick.

Dr Carol-Anne Murphy
Dr Carol-Anne Murphy
Dr Murphy is a Lecturer, researcher and discipline lead in Speech & Language therapy at University of Limerick and has worked with Dr Kevin Johnson and the web-developer to establish the RapidInfo4U website. She was previously course director for an MSc in Advanced Healthcare Practice, is a CORU registered speech and language therapist and has discipline-specific clinical expertise in childhood language difficulties. Dr Murphy is currently PI of a National Council for Special Education project on Speech and Language therapy in schools and sits on the management committee of the Health Implementation Science and Technology cluster at the University of Limerick.

Dr Kevin Johnson
Dr Kevin Johnson
Dr Johnson is a Senior AV Technician the University of Limerick and is responsible for the development of the RapidInfo4U website. Dr Johnson is an Engineer, Learning Technologist, Software Programmer and Web Developer.

Dr Sean Redmond
Dr Sean Redmond
Dr Redmond is a civil servant seconded to the University of Limerick from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs and is responsible for the evaluation of RapidInfo4U. Dr Redmond is programme lead of REPPP – Research Evidence into Policy, Programmes and Practice, which seeks to improve the evidence base for policy making in the area of youth justice in Ireland. Sean is a CORU registered social worker.

Dr Emma Carr
Dr Emma Carr
Dr Carr is a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Health Implementation Science and Technology Cluster of the Health Research Institute at the University of Limerick and is involved in the design and delivery of RapidInfo4U. Dr Carr is a Health Psychologist and has experience in developing digital health interventions and synthesising research evidence. Dr Carr is a member, and Secretary, of the Psychology Society of Ireland, Division of Health Psychology.

Dr Claire Hickey

Dr Hickey is Senior Project Specialist, in research and evaluation with the Centre for Effective Services (CES) and is responsible for the evaluation of RapidInfo4U. CES is a non-profit organisation with skills and expertise in areas such as education, health, children and young people and social services, that works with agencies, government departments and service providers throughout the island of Ireland to bring new ways of thinking to complex problems to advance social change. Dr Hickey was the principal investigator on the national evaluation for the Area Based Childhood (ABC) Programme and is the PI on a number of current evaluation studies. Dr Hickey also provides research and evaluation design and support across a number of CES projects in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Anne-Marie O’Riordan
Anne-Marie O’Riordan
Anne-Marie O’Riordan is a Project Specialist in the Centre for Effective Services (CES) and is responsible for the evaluation of RapidInfo4U. She has contributed to a number of research and evaluation projects including: the national evaluation of the Area Based Childhood (ABC) Programme; a research project to reform of government-funded youth programmes and; value for money evaluations of education and children’s services in the UK.
RapidInfo4U is part of the Irish Government’s national coordinated research and innovation response to the COVID-19 pandemic. RapidInfo4U is funded by a Health Research Board COVID-19 Pandemic – Rapid response funding award and managed by the Health Implementation Science and Technology cluster at the University of Limerick.
