How the Repository works
The information uploaded to the repository results from a collaborative effort, featuring knowledge from different disciplines. We provide links and uploads of existing information sources organised in one central location. The information is organised to address topics that relate to individual professions and to address questions that are relevant across health professions. Information sources include evidence syntheses and summaries, key articles, professional body and government guidelines and other materials.
RapidInfo4U is for health professionals in the fields of Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Nutrition & Dietetics and Physiotherapy and aims to support health professional practice in Ireland. We have included what we feel are the most current common topics of interest but the information repository is not a static reference work. Where a visitor to our site submits a question to the Repository we will post the response in the relevant discipline below. RapidInfo4U is part of the Irish Government’s national coordinated research and innovation response to the COVID-19 pandemic. RapidInfo4U is funded by a Health Research Board COVID-19 Pandemic – Rapid response funding award and managed by the Health Implementation Science and Technology cluster at the University of Limerick.
